When they first had this out, the pre-order cost WAS 799, untill they realized this thing was selling so fast(#1 selling lab top on amazon for 2009) and had to raise the price. . . =( I'm thinking you could wait for the next gen labs to hit the market or wait for boxing day. . Lab top prices always fluctuate. . . This thing only sells on amazon, which is one of the reasons why they jacked up the price recently. . .
