Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 On The Asus Eee PC 1201N

Playing cod MW2 upon the Asus 1201N. Specifications: Asus 1201N, Atom 330 @ 1630 mhz, 2GB DDR Ram, ION chipset, Nvidia motorist chronicle 196.21, Windows 7 x64. Framerate shown during top left dilemma by Fraps. Asus Super Hybrid Engine during Super Perfomance Mode (~ 1630 instead of 1600 mhz). Game settings: 800×600 as good as all low. No alternative optimizations or tweaks. Maybe you can get the couple of some-more FPS after finetuning. Call of Duty functions well. This map was the bit ‘heavier’ than many alternative maps, though still good playable. It’s the good netbook befitting for gaming from time to time, nonetheless it substantially won’t be your categorical gaming device for newer games. More videos will follow. css is like from the year 2005. and this is new. So I think that this game has much better graphics. and if that computer, it plays well. then take a guess. . . . . Yes, I have css and I play it perfectly. My Ping is a good 50 even on de_dust and CS_nuke
What is CSS with Steam TF2 and? Will it run with approximately 45 fps? McDaniel-77

The 1201n dual core cpu owns the 270 ion netbooks.
Get a 270 atom netbook if you are going to sell it in a year, get the 1201n if you plan on keeping it longer.

Hi, i don’t think its really needed (because I have seen some video’s about Call of Duty 4 running well on the 311c mini).
But I think dual core can still give you some more frames per second on multi core supporting games, like newer games as this one.
Unfortunately I can’t compare precisely since I don’t have a single core ION system.
I will install Call of Duty 4 on my 1201N and will report the frame rate results soon. Maybe I even create a short movie.
