Cool vid. I’m thinking of setting up something like that in my home for a web development server (prolly running Ubuntu Server) and a FreeNAS storage server. What would u suggest as minimum hardware for smooth runtime?

Also what is the song heard while on the fast forward of the assembly?

ESXi install, like a picture and then want it on a separate drive (otherwise it would be your VMFS partition will be erased if) you reinstall. RAID is really not for ESXi systems (IMO) is required because installation is so fast, and always so einfach.Having said that, I abandoned install ESXi to a jump drive on my ESXi Whitebox as the system would hang for some reason . But hey, is the biggest part of my hardware is not supported, and now when I boot from the ESXi is a regular drive i have no problems back :-)

I built a ESXi server for less than 1500 euros. Core i7-920, 6 GB OCZ RAM, 4×500GB Seagate 7200th 12 HDD, Foxconn Renaissance motherboard, 750W PSU Antec Earthwatt.Nizza is not: D

Where is the sense of the conversion of the operating system on only one FlashDrive instead of some logical RAID volumes of 5-10gigs? IF 3ware is not a genuine hardware-based RAID CONTROLLER should it a problem its handling boats of Linux however the non removable disks become into the Gehäuse stacked. Why do they separate their own boat drive assembly? it does not become an error tolerance with this. BTW: I prefer ICP Vortex (alias Adaptec SATA RAID CONTROLLER). Audio alarm, 100% Linux Unterstà ¼ tzung out OF the box, groà Ÿ e console/CLI tools. groà Ÿ e Handbà ¼ more cher

The asus P6T doesn’t have a built in card, hence no video output. The server doesn’t need a monitor once it’s setup, but I think it would be a challenge to install windows w/o output
